I studied at the University of North Texas and graduated with a degree in Biology and a minor in Chemistry. Prior to joining Honda Aircraft Company, I worked for a legacy aviation company that is well-established globally. Although I came into the aviation industry with little knowledge, I quickly flourished in the fast-paced environment, fell in love with aviation, and realized I wanted to be a part of something new and advanced.
My position here at Honda Aircraft Company is the Delivery Coordinator. I work closely with our customers from the time the sale is made until their departure with their new aircraft. My daily responsibilities include reviewing aircraft for fit, form and function prior to final delivery, creating and providing customer production updates in order to include customers and dealers in the building process, assisting customers in the understanding and completion of all required aircraft subscriptions, and coordinating all aspects of delivery, planning, and execution of the customer aircraft delivery. I also recently began supporting our Technical Publications Department in writing aircraft service bulletins and other technical documents.
Honda Aircraft Company is new to the aviation world, but happens to be the most technologically advanced company in the industry. It is exciting to be a part of that journey. When I started working at Honda, we had just delivered the very first HondaJet and I am proud to say I have been a part of every delivery since then. Honda Aircraft Company has provided me with an array of opportunities that have allowed for both personal and professional growth.
We are lucky to have many experienced aviation employees here with a wealth of knowledge, and Honda Aircraft knows how to leverage that knowledge in order to be the best in the industry.
My favorite part about my job is creating a unique delivery experience for each individual customer. Each customer is different and catering the delivery experience here at Honda Aircraft to each personality or mission is what makes my job special to me.
Outside of work I enjoy hiking, traveling, reading (fiction only), hunting, fishing, and spending time with my friends and family. I have a very competitive spirit and I am always up for a good challenge. I have a very hard time saying no to playing a sport or attending a good workout.
My advice to young professionals is to be eager to learn new things and step outside of your comfort zone. Remember to always say yes to new opportunities, because you never know where they may take you in life.
